Custom log tables have been our biggest sellers since the early days of Coast Timber. We love to work with people around the world who love the look of natural, twisted and gnarled wood and are inspired when we turn these beautiful natural objects into one-of-a-kind picnic tables and benches. We have designed finely finished, awe-inspiring furniture for boardrooms, bars and all types of indoor and outdoor living spaces.
We also offer a wide variety of conventional log tables from the basic park table with log footprint and plank tops, to wonderful “family reunion sized” park tables. We love to get carried away with curved and twisted logs, tree roots and big cedar flares to create works of art that will survive for generations. We have handcrafted tables up to twenty feet long, weighing in at five tons – wonderful “head turners” that get us stopped in the street during delivery.
We especially enjoy producing single log tabletops, where the entire surface is created from a single log, sliced and opened up like pages to display the matching grain. We also work extensively with parks boards to fulfill large orders for public spaces. We handle everything from the early stages of design and site layout to pouring the concrete, installing the connectors and the delivery and final assembly of every table and bench.
